(TB bright bay ex Zimbabwe) Royal Count was stolen from PJ and Barney’s stables at Guma in Feb 2005. Police recovered him after 10 days – he had been galloped into the ground, his taught skin stretched over his bony frame, his tendons blown, his ears cut, his forehead burnt. The thief was sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Tribal Court.
