Meet TALA (Maxwell’s Blue Print) Tala is a bea Meet TALA (Maxwell’s Blue Print) 

Tala is a beautiful Chestnut blanket appaloosa who was bred in South Africa. Upon arriving at OHS, he immediately settled straight into safari life like he had been doing it his whole life. He has a big character and loves attention! 
 “Tala” means Blue in Setswana.
Shout out to our amazing farrier @jareddawson83 an Shout out to our amazing farrier @jareddawson83 and all the hard work he does keeping our herds’ feet in order. 

Most of our herd are kept barefoot. We only have a few who need shoes. Jared comes every 5 weeks to trim and shoe everyone and make sure they have happy healthy feet!

Meet Kajaja He has come to us from the same farm Meet Kajaja
 
He has come to us from the same farm as Katavi in Ghanzi.  He is around 4 years old and currently a beautiful steel grey. He has a very kind nature and is settling into camp life quickly. We have high hopes for his safari career.

There is something truly special about our Lead an There is something truly special about our Lead and Back up horses. Each one has their own character and quirks but at the end of the day they are all very brave and bold in the work that they do and we could not deliver our guests with the amazing rides they have without each and every one of them!
